Under the inspiring leadership of Pastor David Celestin, President, our passionate team of dedicated staff, regular volunteers, and part-time helpers is driven by a deep commitment to transform lives. We don’t just talk about change — we take bold action every day to uplift and empower our community. 


 

Louise Regis

Food Pantry Manager

Louise Regis serves as the Food Pantry Manager, overseeing daily operations, coordinating food distribution, managing volunteers, and ensuring that individuals and families in need have access to nutritious food and supportive resources. She is committed to serving the community with compassion, dignity, and respect. 


 

Melissa Leroy

Finance Director & Treasurer

Melissa Leroy serves as the Finance Director and Treasurer, overseeing the organization's financial management, budgeting, reporting, and fiscal accountability. She works to ensure the responsible stewardship of resources and supports the organization's mission through sound financial planning and oversight. Melissa is dedicated to maintaining transparency, accuracy, and financial sustainability while helping the organization achieve its goals and serve the community effectively. 


 

Samuel Pierre

Governance & Policy Committee Chair

Samuel Pierre serves as the Chair of the Governance & Policy Committee, providing leadership in the development, review, and oversight of organizational policies and governance practices. He works closely with board members and leadership to promote accountability, transparency, and compliance with organizational standards. Samuel is committed to strengthening effective governance and helping ensure the organization remains focused on its mission and long-term success.

Founded in 2016 by Pastor and Counselor Soline Celestin, Divine Truth Ministry began addressing the urgent needs of food-insecure families in Queens Village and Nassau County. Since then, we have grown to provide counseling and outreach programs that uplift and support individuals and families facing challenges.

    This program helps keep the Queens community connected by assisting residents with services from National Grid and Con Edison. We provide support with utility access, bill assistance resources, payment options, and energy-related guidance to help households maintain safe, reliable, and affordable utility service.
